Bend Stiffeners
Bend stiffeners are made of polyurethane with a metal insert/flange to transition to equipment. They are conically shaped and designed to provide localized stiffening to flexible pipe, flowlines, cable or umbilical to limit the bending stresses and prevent fatigue failure in demanding applications.
CBM uses featured materials and unique design, and standard test to provide the most reliable dynamic bend stiffeners.
Bend Restrictors
Bend Restrictors are made of Polyurethane, they are mounted around the cable and attached to the offshore structures. Bend restrictors are designed to prevent damage to flexible flowlines/umbilical/cables from overbending and buckling during the offshore installation and operation.
CBM offers custom designed and high performance bend restrictors to meet any specific technical requirements .
Urashield ®
Urashield® is made by a wear and impact resistant elastomer or plastic material, it is a abrasion protection solution for the touchdown sections of the subsea fiber optic cables and power cables, pipelines, and flowlines.
CBM offers custom designed Urashield® which can be formulated for any special requirements, such as buoyancy, ballast, thermal insulation and fire retardancy. Easy on-site installation and cost reduction is among the key engineering designs of the Urashield® product.
J-Tube Centralizer & Seals
J-tube centralizer works to maintain the position of the cable in the J-tube to reduce the cable movement and the chance of damage.
J-tube seal offers an easy and effective way for sealing and corrosion protection between the flexibles and the J-tube.
